Jungle cat

Yes, I know that Peggy Sue has featured very recently on Blipfoto, but I couldn't resist this shot of her as she took refuge amongst the crocosmia leaves to hide from the 'human kittens'.  She dislikes children and babies of all ages and with no logical reason that I can see.  Stella-Rose is too young to have even noticed her and Violet has always approached her with care, even caution, as PS can be unpredictable in her behaviour.  I shall tag this picture for Wild Wednesday, if there is still such a thing.
Featured in extras is Violet herself, relaxing in the garden on what has once again turned out to be a very warm, sunny day with clear blue skies.  we're making the most of it as we're due to go back to leaden grey as from tomorrow.
