Howl.

A cold wind was blowing from the north, and it made the trees rustle like living things.

-- George R. R. Martin, A Game of Thrones

The winds are howling today, and every now and then a sort of snow swirls through the air - not quite hail or snow or rain, small but sharp, like tiny bits of polystyrene. And the winds are coming from every which way so the white 'snow' is almost suspended mid-air, never quite managing to land before being swept up again.

Me and my trusty micra were battered around on the roads to and from work today, and then leaving the warmth of the car on the way home, to take this photo, was like a slap in the face.

Baltic!

I'm definitely alive!
