Lurking

I was sorting out the contents of the fridge a couple of days ago when I found this in a the back corner in a polythene box. It was looking quite pretty, so I popped it back to mature further.........

Bitterly cold, raw day. I ventured out to the shop for a paper and eggs but that was enough. An indoor blip it had to be - and I remembered the fridge! I wonder if anyone can guess the substrate for these wonderful moulds. we have been incubating.

PS This is a macro image and I have used focus stacking to bring as much into focus on the main subject.
