Seeding Suculent or Flowering Cactus?

In case you can't access it says: I have a box of the seeds from the flower on this cactus/succulent (the white fluff bits in this pic). Grows in my parents' very sunny, warm porch (took it outside for photo/to let seeds blow away). Flowered recently - you can see the remains of the seed pod in the photo. No idea what exactly it is beyond cactus/succulent or how the seeds will grow but I'm going to have go and have plenty seeds if anyone else fancies a go? Dad says this is the first time he remembers it flowering and so producing seeds.
