Last of the Dahlias

It rained today! Hah! you could count the drops as they echoed off the patio cover. The whole thing lasted about ten minutes, and afterwards you could see where each drop hit the sidewalk. That's probably it until at least November. The garden is looking pretty crispy right now. We're on water rationing and need to cut back even more to satisfy our allotment.
