Spider Season

Many thanks for all the stars and hearts for yesterday's daisy starburst, I'm chuffed you like it.  Pure experimentation;  sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I had a bad night so after being awake for a couple of hours I decamped to the spare room at 5 a.m. and woke at 9.10 a.m. to heavy rain.  Being Friday, JJ was on the golf course.

After breakfast I headed over to the Oxfam shop in Olney with two carrier bags full of books.  I bought two Ian Rankin books and one Rory Clements, which I now have the feeling I might have read.  I also bought a birthday card for my great niece, which was the real object of the journey.

Shopping delivered and put away.

These little beauties are everywhere at the moment.
