The return of Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United's number 7) to Old Trafford was always going to make the atmosphere special, so I count myself lucky that the ticket I bought long before he was re-signed was for this match. Inevitably he scored - a tap-in, into the goal just below where I was sitting - and the ground erupted. He scored a rather better goal in the second half, but the next United goal was the best in the 4-1 win over Newcastle United. Well worth the long journey!
