Da Lightsome Buoy

Described as 'a celebration of the role the pelagic fishing industry plays in Shetland life, economy and culture' this art installation by Jo Chapman was new to us.
Despite the wet mist we walked into town to potter round the shops and returned along the coast path, by The Knab and the coastguard station. By now we were quite wet so didn't plan to go out again, though did nip out to Tesco's for strawberries and cream to watch Emma Raducanu play in (and win!) the US Open final.

Out thoughts were with those who died in the attack on the World Trade Centre, twenty years ago today; we remember all too clearly our horror as, on our TV, we watched events unfold.
