Head’s Up

The gate pillar was reassembled yesterday, however today is the first opportunity I have had to photograph it.

It was 1841 when the pillar was built and now it is whole again in time for the 180th anniversary of the building.

Neil who is something of a Historian has emailed a link which gives access to the databases of Newspapers and this will allow access to the social history of our house, including "the scandal".

Scandal?

Being a being of great curiosity I will have a look.
