Stretching Out

Today Minstrel has been mostly asleep on our bed. He did not even leave the room in a fit of pique when I dusted and polished in there as he often does, in fact he barely stirred. He gave me a baleful one-eyed glance and went back to whatever catty dream he was enjoying.

Oh for the life of a pampered house-cat! I have dusted and polished Grace's room too. Zeph does his own but Grace can't as polish and dust set her asthma off!

I've also planned food for the week, written the shopping list, swept/hoovered floors and washed pots. The bins are sorted ready to be emptied too. They are emptied tomorrow but we get them ready the day before - everyone round here seems to. They do get emptied very early some days, and we have been caught out by waiting until bin-day morning before.

Now of course, until they have been emptied all the rubbish generated has to be taken outside to the main bin rather than start filling the indoor bins again. It's annoying to have to keep walking outside, especially when it is lashing down with rain as it is today. The alternative is just as annoying though.

I took the photo of Minstrel whilst having a post-lunch coffee before I have to trek to Tesco in the deluge - just time to post it too! He decided to come down for a dry food snack and walked over to stretch one paw up to me before heading off back to bed probably!
