Really ..........

 ............ REALLY tiny spring onions (scallions)  -  we haven't had quite as much success with these as with the other stuff from the redhouse!!   They are very oniony though.
The 5p coin measures 18mm (12/16") across.

I had been cooking wild salmon in a pan with onions, garlic, herbs, lemon juice and white wine and just served it up onto my plate when there was a loud knock on the door.
Outside stood the Fish & Wildlife Officer with a warrant in his hand.   Without me uttering a word he said  " Ma'am, I have reason to believe that wild salmon has been poached "
