There and Back

Today's canal cruising took us from Whaley Bridge (last night's overnight mooring) along to the Bugsworth Canal Basin where we took in some local history before a lovely pub lunch. On the way out of the basin we admired a cormorant unfazed by our manoeuvres (see extra).

This afternoon we travelled back up the Peak Forest Canal to the top of the Marple locks which we will descend tomorrow. We made dinner on the boat before a fun evening of games.

The weather has been lovely and sitting at the front of the boat taking in the scenery was stunning, as captured in the main blip.
