It was a good morning with bright blue sky and ideal for a walk from East Linton along the river to Dunbar.  At the ford near Knowes Farm a man wisely decided that it was too deep and dangerous to drive his van through the river.  At the bay the tide had turned so it was possible to walk along the damp sand at the Tyne estuary then through the woods and past the East Links Family Park where a young llama kept chasing a rhea. By the time we reached the beach at Belhaven Bay the tide was low enough to walk across to the “Bridge to Nowhere” then up along the cliffs to Dunbar with super views towards Bass Rock and The Isle of May
