Scottish Half Marathon this weekend!

Mentioned a few weeks ago that, potentially, it wasn't too long before I took part in a real life 'running event' ... well, as you can see from the snap, my 'number' has arrived and the run is going ahead and is indeed taking place this weekend!

Am really looking forward to the day - the event obviously didn't happen in 2020, so I last ran this distance back in September 2019 ... doubt if I'll match the time I got then - will be delighted just to finish in one piece on Sunday ;-)

Certainly feels like large gatherings are now beginning to take place once again - an event last night with some 400-folk in a huge open-sided marquee; and now an (outdoor) event this weekend with several thousand runners!
