Allotment Pears

We've had the most extraordinary crop of pears this year - we just have the one pear tree at our Saughton Allotment, and it has never produced so much fruit as this year :-)

These seven are the very last ones left at home (from literally dozens and dozens) ... the outer-skin may look somewhat blemished, but once peeled they have all (without exception) been absolutely delicious!

Here's hoping it may be the start of a good run of 'pear-years'?
