Annual Flower Meadow

Today the Ws had an adventure. We needed bird food, so we decided to drive out to Nick  Watts’ new shop and café at Vine House Farm near Spalding.  We needed the change of scenery.

It was well worth the visit, and taking into account the cost of the fuel we saved a couple of quid on the bird food.  Mind you it’s a half hour drive each way.

Apart from a splendid café and shop he has developed a wildlife area with a pond.  This was a wild flower patch of ‘Annual Flowers’ or as Nicholas likes to call them ‘weeds’ when they get in the crops.

At extra is a shot across the pond looking at the outside seating area of the café.  When times are better we may well find ourselves out there.

Many thanks to Anni - aka BikerBear, for hosting Flower Friday.
