Baddesley Clinton

Moated Manor House in the heart of Warwickshire countryside, about 8 miles from the ancient town of Warwick.

Mrs I and I were there today, using some time afforded to us whilst Hollie dog was having some x-rays done of her leg which is now more metal than flesh and blood.  The prognosis from the brilliant veterinary surgeon who is caring for her is good. All we can ask for, considering. She is doing well, it is up to us to manage her revovery. She is active and in good spirits, but another month before she can resume normal exercise. Just in time for a much needed holiday in The Lakes.  We are all desperate for that, and we need to make sure she doesn't do anything daft. Humph! Everything this dog does is daft.

But we love her.

Back to Baddesley Clinton. It was a sublime day for autumn warmth and light, and we enjoyed our time immensely. We met and spoke to a nice couple who live near to us
The gentleman is a volunteer at Whitwick Manor, a short walk from our house. Whitwick and Baddesley are both National Trust properties and both are beautifully managed and presented. A great day out.

As ever I am so thankful for your continued support and comments on recent blips. The encouragement is wonderful, thank you.
