The last hoverfly.

A bit of a late start  but at least I did start today.  The house got hoovered and I began to cut down the last shrub roses to get the chop.  These are very tall, one red one white, intertwined, and I thought would be difficult. Not so far anyway. I stopped about half way feeling that was enough. Hopefully I'll finish tomorrow.  Lots of ivy and periwinkle to be cleared after that but I'm reaching the end of the major changes.   Went to the chemist to collect my prescription then had a wander in the garden with my camera.  Only one remaining hoverfly and two bees.  The bees will be the last to go I think.
