Canal Day 14: Reflections

Thank you to those who had a little look at my sparrowhawk slide show yesterday. I don't know when, if ever, I will get a chance like that again, and with no bloodshed.

It was lovely to wake up to a clam, sunny morning as we prepared to head back to the marina. This is always a nice, quiet spot, especially back in 2017 when there had been a rebar perch for a kingfisher set up on the opposite bank. Had the farmer removed it? Had the bank eroded and made it fall? We will never know!

Back to the marina after lunch to do the necessary cleaning. Horrified that the marina couldn't get any gas cylinders for weeks. That's leaving the next cruisers short, and the next ones with none if delivery predictions are correct. Oh, dear!
