Crippsy’s car

It was the Classic Cars on the Green in Bearsted today. The threatened showers didn’t materialise although they were in the vicinity later in the afternoon.

A wonderful gathering of cars provided a feast for blippers. I wanted to show the cars a different angle focussing on small details like mascots, reflections in shiny paintwork or unusual views of engines and equipment. In the end I settled on this shot of the smartly presented, bright faced Crippsy’s car. No idea what it’s about or what it means. There is an interesting extra showing the brass work of a 1912 extra heavy colonial Napier.

After viewing the cars and all the stalls we took Doreen back home and went walking, calling in at the allotment for raspberries and beans and then on to the golf course to pick damsons.

Glad you liked my “relaxing” day yesterday. It was a bit full on wasn’t it? Tongue in cheek of course.

You may be pleased to learn that there were no ill effects on my knee from my run yesterday. The same couldn’t be said for the quads which were fulsome in their complaining.
