As forecast!

It's now 3.30pm and it's rained lightly all night and all day, judging by the burn at the bottom of the hill which is a rushing gingery-brown torrent!

We've just come back up from the village shop, less than ten minutes walk away, and that's as far as we're going today. We called in at the charity shop at the bottom of the hill, but weren't tempted. It was so grim this morning - added to by a power cut - that we wondered if we should come home early, having checked with the next-door cat feeding ladies, but all the ferries are booked up so we're here until Friday evening. 

Someone has put a number of flower boxes along the seafront wall, so that's my Blip for today. At least they won't need watering! My extra today is a small painted stone sitting on the same wall.
