St Ives

Taken mid afternoon before the sun put in an appearance.

We woke to a cloud inversion and it was amusing to just see the top of Godrevy lighthouse in the distance,

The walk into St Ives is deceptively easy to start with, getting very steep downhill a few hundred yards before Porthmeor beach. Further into town is horrendously busy, so best avoided. We passed blipper “Trixie the Collie’s” home but she wasn’t looking out for us.

This afternoon we did a circular walk along the coast path and back across farm paths. Very pleasant.
