Stormy

We were late setting off this morning due to a heavy shower, so we sat and had a coffee.

We tried a new route, which took us up past the rugby club and then over the fields before dropping down to the coast path, which in this area is very uneven and tricky to negotiate. My balance is appalling and I was lucky to stay upright.

We just managed lunch before the heavens opened and the hail came down thick and fast. Thank goodness I’d worn my new waterproof trousers. It probably only lasted about fifteen minutes but it was enough to soak through my new “waterproof” camera bag. Complaint emailed.

Back at base and it’s been rain and shine all afternoon.

I took this looking down over the cliff and trying not to get blown over.
