Fusilli

So last night, in our family group chat, we were doing some Italian pronunciation lessons. Then our youngest daughter shared a voice memo of A, her girlfriend, pronouncing Fusilli pasta. Basically, she pronounces it like Muesli (Feusili). So the next day in the co-op, I was amused seeing all these Barilla boxes & sent a photo. It was the only photo I thought to take all day... because we then went spinning and swimming together.
Seeing these boxes gave me a flashback to the start of the pandemic and all the panic buying of bread, pasta and toilet rolls that was going on. Now, we are in the midst of a fuel shortage due to another wave of panic buying!! Crazy times!
