Squirrel Blip Friday ....

... not!

As I sat on the deck this morning this lovely Gray Catbird was serenading me with his/her distinctive 'meows' ... I loved it!

They are one of my favorite summertime birds and since it's now autumn they will soon be heading back south.  Sadly, they don't spend the colder months with us here in the Northeast ... much preferring the warmth of the southern States. 

So he/she had to be the star of the day ... even though the background wasn't the best.
