Morning Dew

Sunny and mild all day, perfect Autumn weather. Decided to sit on the front porch and catch up on my daily prayers-been negligent the last few days. The grass was sparkling with the dew droplets. Not sure I was able to capture it in its full beauty. But it may qualify for AT simplicity. Did routine housework after breakfast. Then it was time to start my Christmas spreadsheet. Also updated our WV staples spreadsheet. Hubby cut grass at church and home, his last opportunity before we leave. After lunch, I shopped while he picked up Meds from the base. We are heading north to purchase items for our school raffle. They will be raffled at the spaghetti dinner next Friday. Kristen and I will donate the 15 prizes. Selecting them is much harder than paying for them. Hope hubby took a patience pill today. The initial plan was for us to leave the campground next Wednesday morning, drive two hours to pick up Kristen, take her for another endoscopy, go buy the items, take her home and go back to the campground. My thoughtful sister and BIL volunteered to transport Kristen so we are grabbing the raffle stuff before we leave - a MUCH better plan. Thanks for dropping by. Hope your evening is pleasant. “Life is fragile, like the dew hanging delicately on the grass, crystal drops that will be carried away on the first morning breeze.” - Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche
