A Spectacular Fail

Rich and I thought we'd live a bit deliciously and ordered a cast iron skillet to make some fresh pizzas from a kit we bought. We followed the instructions to the letter and ended up with a pizza absolutely welded to the pan. No amount of kitchen implement scrapery could get that bad boy off and it turned into a pile of mush atop an immovable crust... Attempt number 2 we decided to oil a different pan up ever so slightly (against the advice of the instructions) but whilst this one slid easily from the pan, it also burnt on the bottom, boiled on the top, but remained raw in bewteen. Harrumph. 

To cheer ourselves up, we indulged in some Christmas confectionery. Tony's Chocolonely is the best chocolate.
