Catalogio ar ddiwrnod glawog ~ Cataloging on a rainy day

Roedd rhy wlyb heddiw i weithio  tu allan, felly treuliais i'r fy amser yn catalogio hen lyfrau Bwdist. Bydd y llyfrau hyn yn mynd i'r llyfrgell yn Drala Jong (ein canolfan enciliad) yn orllewin Cymru.  Roeddwn i'n meddwl y basai fe syniad da i gatalogio nhw cyn iddyn nhw fynd ac yn arbed y dasg i rywun yn nes ymlaen. Mae llawer o lyfrau diddorol gyda ni, yn cynnwys rhai o'r teithiau i'r Tibet a Bhutan yn yr 19eg ac 20fed ganrifoedd. Mae'n ddiddorol i weld ffotograffau o Bhutan o 1908 ac yn gweld dydy’r bensaernïaeth a dillad ddim yn newid ers hynny. Mae Bhutan yn wlad sy’n cadw ei draddodiadau.

Today was too wet to work outside, so I spent my time cataloging old Buddhist books. These books will go to the library at Drala Jong (our retreat center) in west Wales. I thought it would be a good idea to catalog them before they go and save someone the task later. We have many interesting books, including some of the trips to Tibet and Bhutan in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is interesting to see photographs of Bhutan from 1908 and to see that the architecture and clothes have not changed since then. Bhutan is a country that retains its traditions.
