It was forecast to be a very wet day, but actually it wasn't as bad as it could've been and we even had a bit of sun.

We caught the bus from the hut and got off some way along the lake, before heading along and up to the trig on Gowbarrow Fell. The descent was by Aira Force... which was in full force, and then we walked back alongside Ullswater.

We're in cooking groups of four and this evening we enjoyed another lovely meal, sausage casserole this time and veg!
