Earthstar Mushrooms

I was out collecting the last few apples from our little tree and I saw these wonderful mushrooms growing around the base of the trunk. Managed to get a shot - illuminated with my LED panel and a torch - it was still almost dark whilst I was there.

The large one on the left is 9cm from tip to tip!

A little ‘googling’ tells me that they are Earthstar Mushrooms (a new one on me). There appear to be a few varieties but I am not sure which one these are. I also found a site that suggests that, whilst not poisonous, they are considered inedible as they are extremely bitter.
