Dog Enrichment!

Our daughter popped up for a while today - stopping in for lunch and a natter. She brought her two dogs with her and had booked the local ‘Dog Enrichment Park’ for an hour this afternoon. It is rather a grand name for a ‘secure paddock’ with large fence all round! There is a large earth mound with a tunnel, some old tractor tyres, a sand pit and a couple of shelters - and basically a wide open space for them run about in safety. Neither of them have ever been off lead apart from in our garden and their garden…and they had absolute blast. I took a couple of tennis balls and the puppy (Oreo) soon got the idea of chasing it and picking it up - we had varying degrees of success with returning it - but it wasn’t really a lesson today - just an opportunity to let off steam. We did have a go at some recalls too, again limited success with that.

So my blip is of Oreo - momentarily paused - with Buzz (the Bedlington) exiting stage right.

They slept all the way home (to Doncaster) in the car and have been asleep since they got home!!

Earlier in the day I had a walk and passed some lovely cyclamen in window boxes outside a cottage - see extra)
