Making Gnocchi

Dave spent most of the day creating a superb meal for us tonight:
- a caprese salad served in avocado shells
- hand crafted gnocchi in a creamy leek sauce
- roast pineapple slices with vanilla ice-cream... 
and then we had BG coffee or lemon verbena with a fortified wine we got yesterday at Ervideira, and some crunchy biscuits from Marvão.

Us being us four and Padre António and Cecílio and Ermelinda. Excellent evening.

This afternoon, we picked up Netty's girls from school for the first time, and had fun on the zip wire and then walking back round the castle, and making the cucumbers explode; one went all over my face.

Gratefuls:
- a colleague getting her timings wrong, so I didn't have a meeting this morning, was feeling a bit stressed about it, feels like too much on all of a sudden
- Netty's girls, they're a lovely pair
- eating such a delicious meal in good company
