Strategic Dot

Sadly our holiday is at an end and we journeyed on the first leg home, to Glasgow this morning.  Thankfully, the threatened heavy rain held off and, together with reasonably light traffic, the journey south to Perth was quick and uneventful.  We lunched at the Old Mill in Blair Atholl, which is a sort of family tradition when we travel this way, and yes I did have the carrot cake.

Approaching Perth we encountered the first heavy traffic and we chuckled at the website and licence plate of this tanker in front of us.

It all ground to a halt as we drew nearer to our turning on the M73/74.  There had been a crash in the awful roadworks near Jen and Pete's junction and so there was much frustration.  However, we were soon seated with very welcome cups of tea in Jen and Pete's, followed up by a walk in the park to stretch the legs.
