Parkrun with Jenny

We passed a comfortable night at Jen and Pete's, rose early for breakfast and then, as Pete went to bed after his night shift, we drove over to Strathclyde Park to take part in the parkrun, with Jenny running for the first time!  It was very muggy and damp so our selfie captures the sweaty wetness perfectly!  Tony went off at his pace and I managed to keep up with Jen although we didn't have much spare breath for chatting.  Our time: 31.33 for the 5k.

Afterwards we showered back at the house whilst Jen put delicious cinnamon buns in to the oven and made us cuppas then, all too soon, it was time to get on the motorway home.
