I should have been a pair of ragged claws

Had a quiet, local day after all the travelling of the previous three. Sorted all the threads out for a holiday cross stitch in the morning. A lot of the colours were very similar and it took me ages - had them spread out all over the bed!

As soon as we set off from Badachro we were met by seals near Shieldaig Lodge and a huge double rainbow over Gairloch. A good start to the day :-)

Went to Mountain Coffee but it was Sunday lunchtime and busy so we decided against. Did some beachcombing, added a few more shells to my collection, and then went for coffee at the Gale Centre and had a walk along the harbour. Spotted this sign tucked away at the side of one of the marine cruise places, thought the quote was quite apt for me. It's taken from a poem by T.S Elliot.

Just chilled out when we got back. Started my holiday/Outlander-inspired cross stitch and made Cajun for dinner. A very peaceful, relaxing day all-in-all.
