Wet dahlia

Not much of interest to report today, so you’ll be spared a long journal entry. Another doctor’s appointment with Doreen this morning, this time her flu jab.

After which we had a fine walk in warm autumnal sunshine in Mote Park and completed a few errands.

I was encouraged to go to the allotment this afternoon to get on with the autumn tidy up while Susan got on with the weekly clean.

Today’s blip was in the bag early as I’d noticed from the window how nicely the early morning sun was lighting up the dahlias. And that they had their faces to that sun.

Saturday night again. How did that happen? The evening’s proceedings are about to start. Nibbles ready, drinks poured. Let the evening begin
