Plastered!

Referring back to my MonoMonday blip on September 27th shows how the water-damaged ceiling and upper part of the wall of this walk-in cupboard in the attic looked then (the central photo in the bottom row in the collage).

At that time we expected the plasterers to come last Tuesday to do the work: we had other jobs for them as well. However they forgot about it! Anyway, at last a different couple of plasterers (working for the same firm) finally came today, and did all the work in one day even though the previous guy reckoned it would take two of them two days.

Anyway as you can see it looks vastly better than it did before - just needs a light sanding when it's dried, and a bit of repair work on the woodwork.
