Wound up in Wexford

On the way home

An uneventful journey so far.  We set off bright and early, caught the ferry from Rødby that we had expected to catch.  When you book tickets direct with the ferry service, you specify a ferry time, but the tickets are flexible, and can be used on any other ferry that day unless it is full - so we had booked the 0940 ferry, and caught it with no problem.  On the way up through Germany, we had booked a ferry for 1400, but didn't actually get to the terminal until more than 2 hours later - good thing the ticket is flexible!

Both charging stops were smooth, and we were able to eat lunch during the first, and have a nice coffee break during the second.  I was so relaxed at each stop I even "checked in" on Facebook - sorry FB friends.  The drive was ok, though there are a LOT of roadworks on the A1 through Germany, and we came through some very heavy showers.  And we know where all the HGV drivers are.

We arrived at the hotel before 1800, having driven just 0.4 of a mile short of 400 miles.  It was good to be able to wind down, then enjoy a leisurely dinner.  Since I'd taken no other photos, dinner is my blip.
