Des Res?

I'm hoping the birds might think this is a "desirable residence" and choose to nest in it this year. They didn't use it last year, but we put it up rather late so that may have been why. Also hope the local cats (including ours!) can't get near it and have put it in some spindly branches that won't support their weight!! I'll keep checking on it over the next few weeks.

We had a new divan base and mattress delivered this morning, so looking forward to sleeping on it tonight. We thought we had also ordered a new headboard to match, but apparently not, so have had to use our original one. May not bother to order a new one, as there's nothing wrong with this one, so the salesman missed out there!

We're going out for dinner tonight to a venue that's new to us, so hope it's okay. It's often such a gamble, isn't it? Will report back tomorrow!!
