Play abandoned

This morning the sky was blue and the sun was shining, though the wind was icy and the temperature didn't get higher than 4 C. But I did do another walk and this time I ended up at the abandoned Overijse Golf Club on the edge of the Zonienwoud .
The shaped hedges form the OGC of the club's name, this club has had its license revoked and is thus closed for play, apparently the club has been open and closed more times than it's had competitions.
Something to do with a golf club not fitting in the land use plan, but then how did it get there ? Anyway, a lovely walk, a nice view on those south slopes which are also used for growing grapes in this region and a quiet paradise for birds and the occasional Blip trespasser.
