Coast Call

A late blip for me but not because of any gigantic beetle attack in the night. It was another sunny warm October day and the thought of everything that needs to be done both in and out was not at all appealing or motivating, but then the Coast called, and we gladly answered! • After breakfast we headed south to York, Maine, and visited several of our favorite haunts, walked the beach, and took lots of photos. This one is Short Sands, a smaller beach that is less busy than the larger one which is, of course, Long Sands. A trip to York always includes a stop at Nubble Lighthouse, our favorite one in Maine. In fact we lived in York for a few years before moving to Texas, and of the many places we’ve owned houses, York is, and will always be, considered home • Take care and have a good evening, y’all!
