Felines

Two days ago at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Virginia, a lovely cheetah named Rosalie gave birth to five healthy cubs. You can see them all on this amazing webcam. I remember having National Geographic animal trading cards when I was a kid; the cheetah was my favorite. I've been enjoying periodically checking in with Rosalie all day. The little babies chirp!

It's not any sort of great photo, but I caught Felix in a comic expression as he investigated a terrarium I planted. Also - an extra of him trying out the recipes in the Post's weekly Food section (he spits out the pieces).
