Avoncliffe

I think today is the last day of the Indian Summer that we have been enjoying: overcast mornings with warm sunshine later in the day.  It is now due to be wet for almost the rest of the week, so with that in mind Cathy and tried to make the most of the weather. Part of that involved a pint of beer at the Cross Guns at Avoncliffe, where an aqueduct takes the Kennet and Avon canal over both the river Avon and the railway line.
