Windows NT

The original plan today was to fit a replacement socket in the kitchen and hang a few pictures in the bedroom. As it was such a nice day though we decided to pop over to Chastleton House NT instead. The house won't be open for much longer this year and the indoor stuff can wait for the next rainy or dull day.

There were lots of shadows about for Abstract Thursday, the most abstract was this window image.

This made us smile:

NT guide: the most significant item in this great hall is this 18ft long table. It is so long that it had to be made in situ and if they want to remove it now it would have to be sawn up.

Visitor (the only person we saw not wearing a mask in the house): if it's that long how did they get it in then?

In other news I had a notification letter about my £200 winter fuel payment. Then I had to pay a bill for the removal and disposal of the old wardrobe which wasn't part of the installation package. £200. Easy come easy go.
