Spider In The Rain

We had a torrential downpour this morning (good job it wasn't that heavy yesterday) and I was trying to capture a shot of the rain sweeping across the roof of my car on the drive. Instead though I spotted my pet window spider battling against the storm. He let me get a few shots before he disappeared home.

The rain has stopped now and the sun is starting to come through. We've got to do some cleaning and tidying though as grandson Rory is coming on Sunday to stay for a few days over half term, and he is a stickler for a clean and tidy house.
