Mundy Fungi

Another Monday, another fungus. Three of us out this morning and we called by the spot where I was last week. The white ones had deteriorated although I did take some shots of them. As we were about to continue I noticed some pretty little lilac/lavender coloured specimens. I looked it up and apparently it’s edible. I think I will give it a miss.

 Lying in the leaves with my assistant (!) standing by lighting it with the torch on a phone I got this shot. Not bad for the trusty little Sony. Perhaps I had better go back with a macro lens.
