Red Shift (AT331 & WidWed results)

We spent the morning completing a house clean and tidy-up session in anticipation of Gill's sister and her husband visiting over the weekend.  Sadly, as they live in Keswick, they need to stay behind and keep an eye on things.  They live on the Derwent Water campsite - in the warden's area, but might have to move their caravan to higher ground.
Flood warning here.

In the extras: Keswick reception building through the hedge. The building is on stilts, with the floor about head height.
Derwent water site in the other.

All of the guests have had to evacuate, and from the Keswick site too which tends to flood more often in periods of heavy rain.
We've not had the heavy rain, and although it is forecast to be wet for the next few days, nothing like this thankfully.

Edit: just heard the water levels are reducing so they can stay put.

My blip is one of the new lights I have fitted to the front of our house in anticipation of the clocks going back on Sunday morning.  Fartnarkled and coloured just for fun!

And so - onto Wide Wednesday.

As ever, there were many great entries with some different interpretations of the theme.  Thankfully no-one tried to photograph a singularity as that might have been the last we would have seen of them :-)
