A day in the life

Minstrels in The Gallery

Bengt and myself had an Evert Taube concert in the Gallery "Persona", named after Ingmar Bergmans film with that name, in Kalmar this evening. It was completely sold out, meaning thirty seats in a very small room, as you can see in the picture. It was a lovely evening and we got to play completely acoustic, no amplification needed. The closeness to the audience, the friendly atmosphere and their urge to sing along with us in some of our songs, made it one of our best concerts so far.

Earlier in the day I listened to a couple of my really old friends, and former playmates, doing a concert close to where I live. At this instance, they were playing medieval music aimed towards kids, in the close by library. Their concert is a part of "light on culture", a series of free concerts that will take place in all sorts of venues in and around Kalmar during this coming week. We had lunch together and it was so nice to see them after at least two years.
