The Lozarithm Lens

Rowde (Sunday 31st October 2021)

Because of the clock change the light was already beginning to fail at 1615 hr, not that it was great to start with but at least it had stopped raining. I had popped over to the Spotty Dog farm shop to buy a loaf of bread. It lies within the grounds of the Rowdey Cow café and ice cream parlour and farm, and they have a small enclosure of animals including this llama, last photographed in 2017 on a far sunnier day in July.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Girls of the Golden West - Will There Be Any Yodeling In Heaven? (recorded 1934, Chicago IL, for Vocalion)
This is my pick from today's Cerys Matthew's 6 Music Show, apparently the most listened-to show on 6 Music, with 80,000 listeners. The Girls Of The Golden West were two farm girls from Illinois but pretended to be from Texas to seem more credible. Andy Kershaw used to play them a lot on his Radio Three show years ago.
