Eye for Tiny Tuesday

I wasn’t sure what to post today until I saw this drawing my granddaughter did this afternoon. She is only 12. I think it is exceptional. Her parents are arty, I can’t draw a wavy line. Thanks for hosting Sheol.

The extra is the grandchildren with their new piano. We ordered two in January for two sets of grandchildren. The first, a rosewood colour came in February. This white one took until today, 10 months later. We carted it out to their place after school and set it up. They will have fun as they both like playing. Their mum will be able to help as she learnt at school (but is a bit rusty, haha, she also had a go when she got home from work). It gave us so much pleasure buying them something they will all enjoy.

We stayed and had pizza together and did a garden tour. A lovely afternoon together.

Apparently it was Melbourne Cup day here, we forgot.

For the first time in many months there were no Covid cases in our health region (Western NSW).

PS the old piano book was mine. The price tag was 4/6 ( four shillings and sixpence). We changed to decimal currency in 1966. This is probably from 1961 era.
